Official name of this building is Hokai Taisei In. Saint Eison Kosho Bosatsu died at the age of 90 on 25th August in 1290. His body was cremated in the northwestern glade of the temple and was entombed at this holy. Soon after his death, a five-ring pagoda (Height: 3m30cm), made of stone, was built there by his disciples to commemorate the dead saint’s virtue.
