This is a document describing the history of Daianji and an inventory of its property. It was submitted to the government in 747. In this document it is written that Daianji originated from Kumagori Shoja (Kumagori Monastery) established by Prince Shotoku, and that it changed its name several times, firstly to Kudarano-Otera, then to Takechino-Otera and Daikan-Daiji. Noted in detail in the inventory list of property are Buddha statues, Buddhist scriptures, Buddhist altar fittings, pigments, medicines, cloths, scents, daily commodities, weapons, buildings, Jikifu (A system of giving households to temples), cultivated land, and paddy.
