HONDO (MAIN HALL)

Comments
This Main Hall was reconstructed in 1667 in the Edo period at the same place where the old Main Hall had been standing. It had burnt down by a fire caused by the war during the Sengoku period. For this reconstruction, two priests named Konin and Koei played an important role, by soliciting for contributions of money for the temple.
